MORT provides an AI-powered job matching platform that includes:

• AI job matching with 0-100% compatibility scoring based on your profile and job requirements
• An AI Assistant to generate career-related content (CVs, cover letters, advice)
• Job alerts and notifications
• Application tracking and analytics
• AI Interview Practice with mock interviews tailored to your target roles

Important: We do not guarantee employment, job offers, or accuracy of job matches. MORT is a tool to assist your job search, not a guarantee of employment outcomes.

3. User Accounts

To access our services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Update your information as needed to keep it accurate

4. AI-Generated Application Materials

MORT generates customized application materials using AI technology. By using these features, you agree to the following terms:

MORT's AI generates:

• Personalized cover letters for each application
• Interview preparation materials and practice questions

4.2 Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing all AI-generated content before use
• Ensuring all information in your MORT profile is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
• Verifying accuracy of AI-generated materials
• Making any necessary edits before submitting applications

4.3 Limitations and Disclaimers

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• You bear ultimate responsibility for content you submit to employers
• MORT makes no warranty or guarantee regarding employment outcomes, interviews, or job offers

5. Use of the AI Assistant

Our AI Assistant uses third-party providers (including OpenAI) to generate content. Important considerations:

• AI-generated outputs are for informational purposes only
• You should always review and verify AI-generated content before use
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs
• You are responsible for ensuring content accuracy and appropriateness
• Generated content may not be unique and could be similar to content generated for other users
• MORT is not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or consequences of using AI outputs

6. User Obligations and Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Misuse MORT for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• Upload false, misleading, offensive, or inappropriate information
• Submit content that violates intellectual property rights
• Attempt to access MORT systems without authorization
• Use our service for spam or unauthorized marketing
• Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of our service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and services provided by MORT remain our property and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your CV and personal data, but grant us a limited license to process it to provide our services.

This license includes the right to use, modify, and display your content solely in connection with providing MORT's services to you.

8. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party providers including:

• Major platforms and career websites for job listings
• Stripe for payment processing
• OpenAI and other AI providers for content generation
• Railway.com for hosting services

We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and conditions.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

10. Liability Disclaimer

MORT provides services "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, MORT is not liable for:

• Lost job opportunities or employment outcomes
• Errors in AI-generated outputs, job matching, or application content
• Failed, rejected, or unsuccessful job applications
• Actions taken by employers based on your applications
• Third-party service failures (e.g., Stripe, hosting, AI providers)
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MORT harmless from claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) resulting from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• You may delete your account at any time through your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice
• Upon termination, your access to the service will cease and your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, regardless of conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
