About

Built by job seekers, for job seekers.

MORT is an AI job search platform that watches 50,000+ company career pages around the clock, surfaces newly posted jobs within hours, scores every job 0-100 for fit, and generates ATS-optimized tailored resumes and cover letters. Based in London. Founded in 2025.

Why we built MORT

The job market is more crowded than it has ever been. A typical posting in 2026 attracts hundreds of applicants within hours of going live, and applicant tracking systems rank applications by match, so a poorly-matched resume gets buried before a recruiter reads it. The candidates who get interviews aren't always the most qualified - they're the ones who apply early, apply often, and submit materials tailored to each role.

MORT started as a personal tool. After leaving Construction Cure in 2025, our founder spent months searching for his next role and found the process slow, fragmented, and stacked against candidates without the resources to apply at scale. The first version of MORT was a LinkedIn scraper built to surface relevant new postings before the application pool closed.

Over the following months, that scraper grew into a full platform: AI-powered job matching across 50,000+ company career pages, plus boards like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor; ATS-optimized resumes and cover letters tailored to each posting; and an application tracker with AI follow-ups. The underlying conviction has not changed - give job seekers better timing, better targeting, and better materials, and the rest follows.

MORT is built primarily with AI development tools, including Claude Code. That approach keeps the team lean and lets us ship product against user feedback in days, not quarters.
